SONAR track setup
A template named Eponymous 4 is used for every new project created in Cakewalk SONAR. The tracks are organzied in the following order:
- Folder: MIDI: Melody
- Melody (Tight E Grand on the Kurzweil PC-88)
- Backing melody (Tight E Grand on the Kurzweil PC-88)
- Folder: MIDI: Hardware synths
- Piano and synth patches
- Rock Bass (A66 on the Korg N364)
- Rave Kit (D09 on the Korg N364)
- Combo Kit (B19 on the Korg N364)
- Folder: MIDI: Software synths
- Software synth patches
- Guitars
- Folder: Audio: Melody
- Melody
- Backing melody
- Folder: Audio: Samples (optional)
- Samples
- All hardware bounced
- Folder: Audio: Hardware synths

Tracks follow these naming conventions:
- Melody guide is enclosed in parenthesis and named (Melody), regardless of the actual instrument name playing the temp melody.
- MIDI tracks are named after their respective synthesizer patches.
- Audio tracks are enclosed with curly braces.
- Vocals are labeled with a date of recording
- {Backing track} is a mix both the Rewire bounced track and the hardware synthesizer recorded track.
- {All software bounced} is the software synthesizer bounced track.
- {All hardware bounced} is the hardware synthesizer bounced track.
- {Mixdown vocals [date]} is a mix of the complete instrumental track and a complete vocal track.
- {Mixdown temp} is a mix of the complete instrumental track and the complete temp vocal track.
- Within each folder of MIDI tracks, the instruments should be arranged by the following instrument classifcations:
- Melody
- Piano and keyboards
- Guitar
- Bass
- Drums and percussion
