National Solo Album Month, or NaSoAlMo, has its own site now, but you can't find it doing a Google search for "nasoalmo". ("nasoalmo 2006 works, though.)

Writing begins on Nov. 1, 2006 and ends on Nov. 30, 2006, just like National Novel Writing Month.

I'm not under shinkyoku moratorium this year, so I just may participate alongside the event.

I won't register, though. I haven't registered in any year I attempted -- and failed -- to do NaNoWriMo. I'll register next year if I manage to get something done this year.

Of all the ideas I have floating around, I think I may try to write and record a solo piano album. Eluvium's An Accidental Memory in Case of Death is pretty much my inspiration, so it's going to be hard not to mimic what Matt Cooper did on that album.

If I manage to be an unofficial NaSoAlMo winner, I might do a series of piano albums for the event. I'll call them NaSoPiAlMo. Or 「ナ~ソ~ピ~Al~モ」.

About this weblog

「名作記」 is pronounced "meisakuki", and it means "masterpiece chronicle" in Japanese. Yes, this title is meant to be an exaggeration.

This site is my "creative scrapbook", a place where I jot down ideas for creative projects. Mostly, I write about my music project, Eponymous 4, but I also might mention other writing endeavors.
